Communication is the eye of this week's storm with a message that spews forth to speak your truth and ask for what you want in life. It's an illuminating declaration of my percolating exhortation I like to call Grammar Yammer. One day, I looked up the word 'WORD' and found there to be a thousand ways to say it. Hence, the concept was born and I explored this ingenious path to the fullest degree. There's nothing better than a play on words when it comes to songwriting and creating one with no meaning yet packed full of meaning made perfect sense to me.
When I was a gypsy and Mark was a Bonemaster, he tickled my funny bone. He got a boner, the bonehead and when we got home, we threw bones and had a bonefide, bone-rattling time. Later, the ham bone was bone weary but I had no bone to pick because bare bones as it was, he boned up, felt it in his bones, threw me a bone and took me to the bone, make no bones about it! And now you have heard how a nerd can be absurd with a word. LOL
I categorize this week's release as 'Linguistic Rock'. William Taylor plays gritty guitar licks as Mark Sheldan pumps out pure gold on his bass. (MarkSheldan.com) My brother Craig Lybarger blows a super funky harmonica as my down and dirty beats take you back to the sixties with groups like the 'Animals' and 'The Doors'. I had fun using power chords, adding harmonies in the chorus. I made sure to pump up the vocals to make the lyrics stand out as the star of the show.
At my high school graduation award ceremonies, I was presented a trophy and a thesaurus as a prize for being a good English student and a darn good creative writer. Little did they know that I was a terrible speller and bad with punctuation, but my mom proofread everything I wrote and made it perfect. Also, my older, witty boyfriend at the time helped with all the essays and stories to enhance my grades. Still, it was one of my favorite subjects and very useful in real life as a songwriter and author. Thank technology for spell check now.
As summer winds down and the rainy season stares us in the face, Smokeywine the Duo is heading back to Twisted Gitar Music Studio to create more songs for the world to hear. I'd like to welcome our new listeners in Norway and Poland. Thanks for supporting organic, homegrown music and local artists.
Until next time, I beg you to communicate any way you can and remember to Love, Laugh and Dance. ~*.*~ Lea Sheldan

Yammer With Your Grammar
Express your indication, don’t worry about the rules
Dispatch your exhortation, articulate your truth
State your exposition, bloviate your choice
Conceptualize your phrases and vindicate your voice
Yammer with your grammar, let it percolate
Verbalize and testify when you communicate
Natter out your message, announce and activate
Direct your elocution in terms that fascinate
Sermonize and publicize, speak and motivate
Notify and vocalize, proclaim and formulate
Yammer with your grammar Let it percolate
Verbalize and testify when you communicate
If you need illumination
Use your imagination
To set your fascination on fire
Direct your observation, convey and consummate
Present your declaration, it’s time to ventilate
Join the conversation; say what’s on your mind
Create interpretation, lay it on the line
You've got to yammer with your grammar
Let it percolate
Verbalize and testify when you communicate
